World's Apart... 

This was sent to me by a friend.  It is a word of inspiration to those who live in places where Salsa dancing is forbidden.

It is for those Salseros in other countries who are suppressed from the freedom of self-expression, from the freedom of speech, and from the freedom of dancing...  

"You and your friends have found freedom in dancing.  Dancing is a beacon, a light in many places throughout the world.  The more oppressed and forbidden, the more it draws close to its flame the souls of those who know there is a greater life. It is the human spirit that comes alive when you take the floor to dance.  It is the artistry and passion of the musicians that makes us move the way we do. Too share a love with someone who believes in this freedom, is one of the greatest life experiences anyone could imagine.  Maybe the children of your generation will grow up not expecting their life to be given to them, but instead learning that each person must find the path that makes them happy, and know that they are free to take it."
