The Salsa Kid...

There is a new salsa singer in town and his name is Victor Vega. Visit his website at www.victorvegaonline.com . His debut album will be released in Spring of 2003

Who is Victor Vega you may ask, well some say he is a cross between Marc Anthony and Jerry Rivera. Although his style and voice is unique, Victor has been leaving a mark as an artist of distinction in states such as New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Victor brings a unique style and voice compared to none and he is determined to reach people of all generations. His salsa style is unique with a different sound and flavor that copies no other salsero present in today's market. Without the support of a major label, Internet Webzine, or Conventional Media, Victor has been crossing all borders and getting recognition as well as the attention even from Puerto Rico. In the spring of 2003, Victor will be releasing his Tropical Salsa album titled "Este Soy Yo".

In 2002, Victor has performed in major events such as: The National Puerto Rican Day parade in New York City, The Bronx, Atlantic City, Hoboken, Jersey City, Newark, Paterson and The Queens Hispanic Parade. He has been requested to return to all of these events by popular demand. Victor has also performed in local clubs in New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia and Connecticut with destination to appear in Florida, Boston, Canada, California and Puerto Rico for the year 2003.

Victor has opened for salsa legends such as La Sonora Ponceņa, Viti Ruiz and Rey de la Paz, Hector Tricoche and Andy Montaņez for starters, gaining the admiration of the crowds and the respect from many well known salsa musicians, producers and performers.

Do not under estimate this independent artist. For he has shown the potential to succeed and has all that is needed to prove himself as a performer and vocalist. He will definitely cross all borders. The chapter is only beginning...
